I knew I would be back on the job market eventually, but my time line has been moved up. As it turns out, I already have something in the works.
Just a quick update on a few developments since I accepted the head coach position at Svedala back in early June.
This morning I signed my first contract to coach a professional volleyball team. Definitely a whole new chapter in my coaching life!
At last the six month quest for a volleyball coaching job has ended!
The focus this week was mainly on the European professional coaching job market, though there were a couple of US-related developments.
The only real development of note from the past week is that I made the short list for a head coach position in Europe.
Not a great deal to report this week. Put in for a few more assistant jobs and one head coaching position. Other than that, it's been pretty quiet.
It's been a reasonably active last week on the job front, though as yet still with nothing to show for it but some additions to the stack of rejections.
Generally a pretty quiet week on the job front. The only real news has been a lack of news following last week's first interview.
