It was kind of a choppy week of practice between indoor vs. outdoor, main gym vs. secondary gym, and outside influences on things.

It was kind of a choppy week of practice between indoor vs. outdoor, main gym vs. secondary gym, and outside influences on things.
It was a mixed week for us as MSU, with some team building stuff, a bit of time playing outside in the sand, and dealing with banged up players.
This week featured a session with a sports psychologist as part of the team development process and ended the week hosting a tournament.
In which I offer some advice and suggestions to foreign coaches on trying to break into the US volleyball coaching job market.
Our first week of Spring practice following Spring Break concluded with some tournament play where we got to get a good look at the team.
Midwestern State had regular meeting just for the assistant coaches, which is an interesting arrangement I hadn't seen before.
It might be Spring Break on campus at the moment, but that doesn't mean the coaches get to go off and have a vacation. The work continues!
I'm starting a new coaching log for what we're doing at Midwestern State University. It will probably be a little different than my other logs, though.
Progress is being made on the job front. Though no official offer has been as yet, things are definitely moving in that direction.
