This is the first entry in my volleyball coaching log for 2016-17. In it I share the stuff I've been working on over the Summer to prep for the new season.

This was our last week for Spring training and it was a busy one with some important recruiting work intertwined with our practices.
It was kind of a choppy week of practice between indoor vs. outdoor, main gym vs. secondary gym, and outside influences on things.
It was a mixed week for us as MSU, with some team building stuff, a bit of time playing outside in the sand, and dealing with banged up players.
This week featured a session with a sports psychologist as part of the team development process and ended the week hosting a tournament.
Our first week of Spring practice following Spring Break concluded with some tournament play where we got to get a good look at the team.
It might be Spring Break on campus at the moment, but that doesn't mean the coaches get to go off and have a vacation. The work continues!
I'm starting a new coaching log for what we're doing at Midwestern State University. It will probably be a little different than my other logs, though.
Progress is being made on the job front. Though no official offer has been as yet, things are definitely moving in that direction.
