My 2019 AVCA Presentation

As I wrote about previously, I presented at the 2019 AVCA Convention. It was a talk based on material from the book Volleyball Coaching Wizards – Wizard Wisdom. That’s the second book developed from the Wizards project. Here are the topics I covered.

  • Leaving your inner player behind
  • The importance of being consistent
  • Building team chemistry
  • Knowing what’s important in the moment
  • The psychology of practice
  • Coaching to the performance

Below is a recording I made while preparing for the AVCA presentation. It’s not totally identical because I never do a presentation exactly the same twice. It’s the same content, though.

If you’d like to download the audio for the presentation, along with the slides, you can request them here.

Enjoy!
