Many coaches think a talking team means a better performing team. This is probably true, but likely not for the reason they think.

Many coaches think a talking team means a better performing team. This is probably true, but likely not for the reason they think.
There is - or at least there should be! - a whole lot of communication that takes place before, during, and after each rally.
In one situation coaches don't expect a player to call the ball, yet in another situation they do. It's a strange contradiction.
