Podcast 5 – Mick Haley interviewing Brian Gimmillaro

This episode is a change from the norm. In it one legendary coach, Mick Haley, interviews another legendary coach, Brian Gimmillaro. This interview is destined for use in the Volleyball Coaching Wizards project (for which I interviewed Mick), but there are aspects of what Brian talks about that I think are interesting and very much of immediate interest.

If you don’t know Brian Gimmillaro, he coached Long Beach State to three NCAA Division I championships. That includes the first ever undefeated season. His program produced multiple future USA Women’s National team players.

Mick and Brian previous teamed up for a Coaching Conversation on the subject of Steps to Prepare for the Upcoming Season.
