Podcast 16 – Increasing coaching mentorship

I’m rejoined for this discussion by Alex Porter, who featured in Episode 15. As a reminder, Alex is the head coach for the volleyball performance program at the University of Essex in England.

Our topic for this episode is mentorship. As I note early in the conversation, this is a topic I wrote about in the early days of this blog. Unlike in the remote coaching talk Alex and I had, this was a much more freeform exchange. This is basically by design. We threw some thoughts, ideas, and questions back and for. Alex actually came away with a couple of action items. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the subject.

I should note that in our chat before we started the podcast Alex mentioned the Coaching Culture podcast. Looks like something worth checking out.
