In this entry to my Technical Director's log I talk about some of the things I did during the last couple weeks of practice before the holidays.
The last couple of weeks of work in my role as Technical Director at Charleston Academy have focused on our coaching and how it can be better.
This is the first in a new series of log posts in which I share the things I do as Technical Director for the Charleston Academy juniors volleyball club.
Classes have ended. Seniors have graduated. A new head coach has been named at last. So ends the 2017-18 school year and volleyball season.
This was our last week of allowable training for the 2017-18 season. We gave the players a few opportunities to pick the activities.
It was a real mix of events and circumstances for the second to last week of our Spring training block, including the annual athletics award banquet at MSU.
This is an entry in my volleyball coaching log for the 2017-18 season. With our one tournament behind us, all that is left of the year is three weeks of training.
The week featured the one tournament we had scheduled for the 2018 Spring season - one at home. Predictably, the week's training was focused on preparation for it.
