If history is any guide, last months blog readership will end up being the lowest for 2021. As I noted this time last month, May has usually seen the least page views in any give year. June was a bit lower than May this time around, however. Seems like a sign that things are finally getting back toward a more normal pattern for the year.
That said, last month was still a record. This year saw over 20,000 page views in June for the first time ever. That’s a gain of 30% from 2020, which was the previous best.
Here’s are the most popular posts for June:
- Volleyball Camp Drills and Games
- Volleyball Set Diagram
- How to teach the overhand serve to volleyball beginners
- Volleyball Try-Out Drill Ideas
- Pin hitter in volleyball – what is it?
Total page views this year continue to run about 40% above the prior best levels. That keeps the blog in line for clearing 300,000 this year for the first time.
It’s going to be really interesting to see what happens moving forward. July generally sees traffic ramp up as folks run camps, start looking at tryouts, and generally begin planning for the season ahead. On average, there’s about 30% more traffic in July than in June.
